Jarret Schecter : World Off Track
An exhibition of photographs by Jarret Schecter, of landscapes and people taken through the windows of different train journeys around the world. It was held to coincide with the 10th anniversary of The Denan Project.
The exhibition was curated by myself and Hannah Watson, director of Trolley Books who published the World Off track book. The work was installed in the middle of St Pancras International Station for two weeks.
By presenting this unique vantage point of train landscapes as a window onto the world, in tone of London’s busiest train stations. Commuters were invited to reflect on lives in far away impoverished regions, and to support the continued work of The Denan Project.
